WorldMark Victoria

Victoria, Canada is a very walk-able and “ride-able” city. I can travel from Portland to Seattle via Amtrak train. I stay overnight in Seattle at WorldMark Camlin and take an accessible taxi to the Clipper Ferry. There we travel to Vancouver Island. At the ferry drop-off in Victoria, WorldMark Victoria is close enough so one can easily walk to the hotel. Other attractions in the downtown area are easily accessible using my power wheelchair. Those needing accessible transportation can contact the a local cab company for accessible vehicles.

We had the amazing opportunity to spend a week in a two-bedroom Penthouse suite at the WorldMark Victoria resort. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds and there is a Murphy-Bed in the living area that folds down from within the wall.

The suite was spacious and had typical features found at WorldMark resorts. There was an outdoor patio and hot tub, however there was a step. The patio was not accessible to those in a power wheelchairs.

The Master bedroom featured an on-suite bathroom with ADA-height toilet and bathtub with grab bars. There is a second bathroom with roll-in shower but the toilet is not ADA-height. I used the second bathroom for showering. We would have liked to see the ADA-height toilet in both bathrooms.
